Maternity sessions are some of my favorites to capture. There’s just something magical about photographing the anticipation of new life, the glow of an expectant mother, and the love a family already feels for the little one on the way. For this session, we had the most beautiful setting right here in Mobile, Alabama: The Avenue of the Oaks at Spring Hill College.

If you’ve ever visited Spring Hill’s campus, you know how breathtaking this spot is. Towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss line the avenue, creating a timeless and enchanting backdrop. The light filters through the branches in the dreamiest way, wrapping everything in a soft golden glow that feels almost cinematic. It’s a location that perfectly blends Mobile’s southern charm with natural beauty, and it couldn’t have been more fitting for such a special season of life.

This mama-to-be was radiant. Between the laughter she shared with her partner and the quiet moments cradling her baby bump, every image reflected love, joy, and excitement. The Avenue of the Oaks gave us a setting that felt both grand and intimate—a place where little details like a gentle breeze or a soft glance became unforgettable memories.
