Everyone was dressed to impress in their best Derby hats and attire. The buzz of excitement was in the air as locals gathered to watch the Kentucky Derby. This turned the club into a mini racecourse filled with cheers, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition. For many, the main cause was simply gathering as a community. They wanted to celebrate tradition.

Guests mingled as bets were placed on each horse, creating a lively atmosphere. It really felt like we were in Louisville for the Derby itself. The excitement grew with each race. I couldn’t help but capture the anticipation on everyone’s faces. It’s amazing how something as simple as a horse race can bring people together. The event created such a sense of community built around a cause!

Then there was the silent auction, which brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. Folks were darting between tables, jotting down bids on unique items — from local art to incredible experiences around Mobile. It was heartwarming to see everyone rallying together, all while supporting local businesses and charities at the same time. In fact, supporting a worthy cause was at the heart of the festivities.
