There’s just something about a quiet afternoon session that makes everything feel a little more special—and Christian and Marley’s time at Washington Square was exactly that. It felt easy and natural. Moreover, it was full of those sweet in-between moments that tell a story without trying too hard.

As a Mobile Alabama photographer and a Mobile native most of my life, I definitely know my way around the city. I threw out a few location ideas to Christian and Marley, but Washington Square in Mobile, Alabama immediately stood out. Tucked into downtown Mobile, it carries this soft, timeless charm that feels effortlessly romantic. The oak trees, historic architecture, and filtered evening light all come together in a way that photographs so beautifully. Especially as the sun starts to dip and everything turns warm and golden. One of my favorite things about couples sessions like this is how personal they become without even trying. There are no props, no overthinking, and no big production.
