Meet Kathryn Elizabeth Photography – Mobile, AL Portrait and Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m Kathryn — the photographer behind Kathryn Elizabeth Photography.

I’m a portrait and wedding photographer based in Mobile, Alabama, where I have the privilege of serving the city I proudly call home. As a native Mobilian, I’m deeply inspired by the character and charm of this area, from Downtown Mobile and Washington Square Park to Spring Hill College, the University of South Alabama, and the many hidden corners that make the Gulf Coast so special.

My photography journey began in 2020 and has grown into a career built on intention, experience, and a genuine love for storytelling. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a passion that led me to invest in education, hands-on training, and mentorship. Over the years, I’ve refined my craft through online coursework and by assisting and working alongside other professional wedding photographers. Experiences that shaped both my technical skills and my approach to serving clients with care and professionalism.

When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy slowing down and soaking up life along the Gulf Coast from beach days in Pensacola to paddle boarding on Fowl River. At home, I love planning gatherings, trying new recipes, and spending time with my boyfriend Ryan, our cat Magnolia, and Sadie, our chocolate lab.

This blog is an extension of my work and my life and a place where I share session tips, outfit inspiration, and behind-the-scenes moments from both my business and the everyday experiences that inspire it. My hope is that it feels welcoming, informative, and personal, while giving you a sense of what it’s like to work with me.
