Earlier this month, I had the absolute joy of photographing Cambria and Kendall’s engagement session at Historic Blakeley State Park. From the start, they knew exactly what they wanted, open fields, beautiful trees, and a location that felt natural and relaxed.

I recommended a few different spots that fit their vision, but once they landed on Historic Blakely State Park, I knew it was going to be perfect. The mix of wide-open space and towering trees created the dreamiest backdrop for their session. There’s something about that golden light filtering through the trees that just makes everything feel a little more magical.

One of my favorite parts of their session at Historic Blakeley State Park? Kendall wanted to include his truck in the photos and I am always all for incorporating the things you love into your shoot. Your engagement photos should feel like you. The little details, the meaningful pieces, the things that tell your story. Those are what make a session truly special.

Adding his truck gave their gallery such a personal touch. It made the session feel relaxed, authentic, and uniquely theirs. We were able to capture a mix of romantic, playful, and candid moments, the kind of photos that reflect who they are together.

Cambria and Kendall made my job so easy. Their connection is effortless, and you can see how comfortable they are with each other in every image. Sessions like this are such a reminder of why I love what I do. Getting to document this sweet season of life before the wedding day arrives is my favorite part.
